Teaching Plan
"The most important part of teaching is to teach what it is to know."
Simone Weil

Curriculum
I have been assigned to teach first grade students in subject Basic Science, especially those in classes M1/2 and M1/3. I adopted the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008) and the Science Department's Standard and Concept (updated in 2017) as a guide for creating my lesson plan. My topic is focusing on Heat Transfer: Convection, with an emphasis on gases and liquids. In M1/3, I will be instructing for three periods (3 x 50 minutes), and in M1/2, I will instruct for one period (1 x 50 minutes), alongside emphasis on convection in gases.
My Teaching Plan
There are many essential variables to consider seriously when constructing a lesson plan, specifically:
Learning Outcomes
Evaluation
Time
Content
Media Learning
Teaching Methods
Student Characteristics

I am planning my teaching using the POE (Predict, Observe, and Explain) and RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) instructional models. Based on previous observations, the students show high levels of activity and are easily distracted by their gadgets. As a result, I am adopting a student-oriented teaching approach to actively engage the students in the learning process. I am incorporating mini-games into the lessons to enhance student motivation. The instructional media used include multimedia presentations, student worksheets, science experiment materials, and quizzes.
